Copyright Policy

Last Updated: September 2, 2025

Hopsita (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of our company, our users, and third-party contributors. This Copyright Policy outlines the terms under which original content is protected on our platform, the responsibilities of users, and the processes to address potential copyright infringement.

Use of the Hopsita platform, mobile applications, or affiliated services implies acceptance of this policy.

1. Ownership of Content

Unless otherwise stated, all content found on Hopsita—including but not limited to text, layout, graphics, code, photos, videos, logos, icons, product names, documentation, databases, and the overall look and feel of the platform—is the exclusive property of Hopsita or its content providers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

All rights not explicitly granted herein are reserved.

You may not:

· Reproduce, copy, scrape, modify, translate, display, sell, license, or create derivative works based on our content

· Use bots, AI scrapers, or automated systems to extract platform data

· Mirror or frame any part of the platform without written permission

· Use Hopsita’s name, logo, or proprietary interface for commercial use without our written approval

2. Trademarks & Branding Rights

“Hopsita,” the Hopsita logo, and any slogans, service names, or visual branding displayed on the site are protected under national and international trademark law. Use of these assets without prior written consent from Hopsita is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

We allow users to upload their own content (e.g., listings, photos, reviews, messages, and profile info). While you retain ownership of your content, by uploading it to Hopsita, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to:

· Use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display the content in connection with operating and promoting the platform

· Translate or reformat content as needed for technical or branding consistency

· Share anonymized data (without personally identifying information) with third parties for analytics or performance evaluation

You may not upload content that:

· Violates copyright, trademark, or privacy rights

· Contains false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful information

· Is discriminatory, harassing, explicit, or unlawful

· Contains malicious code, viruses, or links to harmful websites

We reserve the right to remove or edit user content at our discretion, and to terminate accounts in violation of this policy.

4. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement on the Hopsita platform, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Agent:

Submit Notices to:

Email: [email protected]
Subject Line: “DMCA Takedown Request”

A valid notice must include:

· Your full legal name and signature (digital or physical)

· A description of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed

· The exact URL or location of the infringing content

· Your contact information (email and phone number)

· A good-faith statement that you believe the use is unauthorized

· A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

5. Counter-Notice Procedure

If content is removed due to a takedown request and you believe it was done so by mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter-Notification.

To file a counter-notice, submit the following to:
Email: [email protected]
Subject Line: “Counter Notification”

Your email must contain:

· Your name, address, email, and phone number

· A description and URL of the content that was removed

· A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was in error

· A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and agree to accept service of process from the original complainant

We may restore content upon receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the original complainant seeks legal action.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Hopsita maintains a zero-tolerance policy for repeat infringers. Any user or host found to repeatedly violate copyright laws may be permanently suspended, and their listings removed, without notice.

We also reserve the right to suspend or remove any user account, content, or listing that raises legal, ethical, or reputational concerns—even absent a formal DMCA notice.

7. Third-Party Tools & Licensing

Some services on Hopsita utilize third-party software, APIs, or content (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe, ID verification services). These components are licensed under their respective terms. You agree to comply with all such third-party terms when using their functionality on Hopsita.

8. Prohibited Workarounds

To be absolutely clear, you may not:

· Use manual or automated tools (bots, scrapers, screen recorders) to reproduce site functionality

· Host copies of Hopsita’s user interface on third-party sites or services

· Post screenshots or content scraped from our platform for resale or public listing without permission

· Circumvent content protections or watermarking features

· Train AI models using data from Hopsita’s database, images, or language

· Use third-party proxies, browser extensions, or VPNs to impersonate identities or mask scraping activity

Violations may result in legal action, takedown requests to your host or platform, and blacklisting from the site.
